reconciliation

reconciled.

Today I was angry.

I get that way at times. When the life I aspire to is beyond reach, it's hard to take.

I become selfish, and self-righteous.

Then I lash.

And it's ugly.

Friends with understanding are friends to keep.

I agree.
But I believe that when these things happen, we're not trusting God with the problems that we've incurred. However, if these things do pass, it does test a friendship because as Christians we are (or should be less likely to become angry) held to a higher standard because we have to set examples for others. However, we do have other friends who may not be Christians or may be Christians...they may or not also become angry and either way it goes, as a Christian you must forgive. As a friend you must also forgive. it goes both ways.

The point here is that we forgive each other because we love each other. Not because we have to, but because we WANT to.
